Your Health Auto Export server already works
Syncky Health can send the same JSON body that Health Auto Export's "REST API" automation sends, with the same automation-* and session-id headers. A server built for it keeps working without a code change.
Point Syncky at your server
- In Syncky Health open Settings › Connections › + › Health Auto Export server. The template picks the format "Health Auto Export JSON" and the path
/api/data. - Enter your server's address, for example
http://hae.local:3001/api/data. - Choose the authentication your server expects: Bearer, or Header with your header's name.
- Choose the data types, then tap Check connection. It sends one test request with no health data.
- Tap Sync now once. With the Sync plan, the app then sends new samples whenever iOS wakes it while your iPhone is unlocked.
The Health Auto Export recipe in the server guide has the details.
What changes
- Writing back. Your server can answer a data request with a commands message, and the app writes those entries into Apple Health once you turn on Accept writes to Health for the server and pick the types. See write-back.
- Deletions and more types. The Health Auto Export format has no deletions, and types without a Health Auto Export name are not sent. Switch the server to Syncky JSON when you want those too.
- Workouts. A workout can come again later with its route, so your receiver should replace workouts by
id. - AI agents. Besides servers, Syncky can deliver to your own AI agent through an end-to-end encrypted relay, without a public URL. Agents.
- No account. Plans are App Store purchases in the app. Pricing.
