Claude Code + Syncky in 5 minutes

Your AI agent on your own computer or server can read your Apple Health data and log entries back: weight, water, caffeine, anything you allow. The data travels end-to-end encrypted through Syncky Relay, which holds sealed messages for at most 7 days and has no key. The agent polls the relay, so it needs no public URL and no open port.

You need the Syncky Health app with the Sync + Relay plan. You can set everything up and pair before you pay.

Claude Code

  1. Get the setup link. During the beta the agent kit and its guide come as a private link: write to support@syncky.app and say which app you use. Details on Set up a Syncky agent.

  2. Let Claude Code install it. In a Claude Code session on that machine, paste the link and ask: "Set up the Syncky agent from this guide." Claude Code downloads the kit, checks its checksum, runs the self-test, registers with Relay and starts the agent as a service.

  3. Pair your iPhone. Claude Code gives you a pairing link and a code of three groups of digits. In Syncky Health open Settings › Connections › + › AI agent › Paste link, then pick the code's last group. Choose per type what the agent may read and write.

  4. Add the MCP server. The kit's agent is also an MCP server over its local database. Register it once:

    claude mcp add syncky -e SYNCKY_AGENT_HOME="$HOME/.syncky-agent" -- node <kit>/agent/bin/syncky-agent.js mcp

  5. Ask. "How many steps did I take this week?" "Log 300 ml of water." Claude Code calls the tools syncky_samples, syncky_write, syncky_commands and syncky_status. A write goes to your iPhone, which applies it only if you allowed that type, and marks it with the agent as its source.

OpenClaw

The kit has an OpenClaw skill at agent/skills/syncky/SKILL.md. Copy the folder agent/skills/syncky into your workspace's skills folder (or ~/.openclaw/skills for every agent), with the agent set up as in steps 1 to 3. The skill teaches OpenClaw the same commands from the shell: syncky-agent samples, syncky-agent cmd write, syncky-agent cmd list and syncky-agent status.

Any MCP client

The MCP server speaks the standard stdio transport. For a client that reads an mcpServers file:

{"mcpServers": {"syncky": {"command": "node", "args": ["<kit>/agent/bin/syncky-agent.js", "mcp"], "env": {"SYNCKY_AGENT_HOME": "/home/you/.syncky-agent"}}}}

It reads only the agent's own database on that machine. It never calls an AI service; which model sees your data is the client's choice.
